V. Grading Policy
Grades are given on a total point scale, the total number of points received is divided by the number of points possible to determine final grade percentage. Daily assignments, homework and quizzes are counted as one grade. Tests count for two grades, and some larger projects and written assignments are counted as two grades. Major projects and assignments will be graded according to a rubric.
VI. Late Work/Redo Policy
Keep in mind that due dates are important and assigned for a reason. Always do your best to turn work in on time. Students will be allowed to turn in two late assignments per quarter and receive full credit. All other late assignments turned in will be deducted 30 points from the grade earned. Any assignments not turned in two weeks prior to the end of the grading quarter will result in a zero.
